JML Industrie has reached a new milestone alongside Renault Le Mans with the supply of a complete industrial filtration system for the new MF4 melting furnace. This major project once again highlights JML’s expertise in the foundry sector, particularly in the design and implementation of dust extraction solutions for demanding industrial environments.
In a context where production sites must combine performance, safety, air quality and operational continuity, industrial filtration plays a key role. For Renault Le Mans, JML supplied a complete solution designed to meet the specific requirements of the new MF4 melting furnace.
A complete industrial filtration system for Renault Le Mans
The project delivered by JML Industrie includes the supply of a dust collector with an extraction capacity of 90,000 m³/h. This level of performance makes it possible to efficiently handle emissions generated by the melting furnace and contribute to a better-controlled working environment.
The installation also includes a soundproof cabin for the 200 kW main fan, an important element in reducing the acoustic impact of the equipment within the industrial site. This attention to noise control is part of a wider approach focused on performance and operating comfort.
JML also supplied a self-supporting stack, a spark arrestor, as well as a complete extraction duct network with supporting structures. Together, these elements form a coherent solution designed to integrate into the existing site and support the operation of the new MF4 melting furnace.
Technical components supplied by JML Industrie
This installation includes:
- a dedusting filter / dust collector with an extraction capacity of 90,000 m³/h;
- a soundproof cabin for the 200 kW main fan;
- a free-standing chimney / self-supporting stack;
- an axial spin separator / spark arrestor;
- a complete suction / extraction duct network;
- associated supporting structures;
- automation and system management.
A project managed from A to Z by JML teams
For this project, JML Industrie mobilised its technical expertise across several complementary areas. The installation is not limited to the supply of a dust collector: it also includes network integration, supporting structures, peripheral equipment and automated system management.
The automation system makes it possible to control the filtration installation and ensure operation adapted to the site’s production needs. This comprehensive approach enables JML to provide complete, reliable solutions designed around the real constraints of industrial environments.
The assembly phase is currently being finalised. The next step will take place this summer with the connection to the MF3 furnace, before full production starts in September.
Industrial filtration: a major challenge for foundries
In the foundry sector, industrial filtration systems are essential to support melting, processing and production operations. They help capture dust and emissions at the source while contributing to air quality control within industrial facilities.
Thanks to its experience in this field, JML Industrie supports foundries in implementing solutions adapted to their installations, production flows and technical constraints. Each project requires a precise study in order to correctly size the equipment, extraction network, fans, stacks and control systems.
A solution designed for demanding industrial environments
The project carried out with Renault Le Mans demonstrates JML’s ability to work on complex installations with high expectations in terms of performance, safety, air quality and reliability.
JML Industrie: recognised expertise in filtration systems for foundries
JML Industrie deploys 2 to 3 filtration installations every year for the foundry sector. This regular activity confirms the trust placed in the company by industrial operators and the relevance of its solutions in technically demanding environments.
Beyond equipment supply, JML brings a global project approach: needs analysis, sizing, integration, automation, assembly and support through to commissioning. This expertise makes it possible to offer installations designed to last while meeting the performance objectives of production sites.
With this new installation for Renault Le Mans, JML Industrie confirms its position as a technical partner for foundry industry players.
Renewed collaboration with Renault Le Mans
The renewed trust shown by Renault Le Mans is an important recognition for JML’s teams. This ambitious project demonstrates the company’s ability to support major industrial partners in the modernisation and optimisation of their installations.
JML would like to thank all Renault Le Mans teams for this collaboration, as well as everyone involved in the project.
The final assembly phase is continuing, with the next stage expected this summer for the connection to the MF3 furnace. Full production launch is scheduled for September.
